Why KS International School?

Why Teach at
KS International School?

KS International School is a special place to teach. Our small school culture means teachers are seen, valued, and supported — and the impact you have on students' lives is profound and visible.

International Environment

Work alongside colleagues and students from diverse cultural backgrounds. KS International School offers a genuinely international school experience within Malaysia — broadening your professional and personal horizons every day.

Professional Development

We invest in our teachers. Ongoing professional development, access to Cambridge International training programmes, and a culture of continuous improvement mean you will keep growing throughout your career here.

Competitive Package

We offer a competitive remuneration package that reflects the value we place on our teachers. Additional benefits include health coverage, annual performance reviews, and professional development allowances.

Meaningful Impact

At KS International School, you won't be teaching to a class — you'll be mentoring individual students. In a school of our size, you see the direct impact of your work on every child in your care. It's education at its most personal.

What We Look For

The Four C's

When we consider a candidate for a teaching role at KS International School, we look for four essential qualities. They aren't ranked — all four are equally important.

C

Competence

We look for teachers who are subject-matter experts and skilled practitioners of evidence-based pedagogy. A recognised teaching qualification is required; experience with Cambridge International curricula is highly valued.

C

Commitment

We need teachers who are fully committed — to their students, to their professional growth, and to the mission of KS International School. Teaching is a vocation, not just a job, and we look for people who feel that in their core.

C

Care

Students flourish when they know their teacher genuinely cares about them. We look for warm, empathetic educators who build authentic relationships with students and their families.

C

Compatibility

KS International School has a distinct culture rooted in universal values, international education, and community. We look for teachers who align with and can contribute positively to this culture — regardless of their own background.
