The new academic year kicked off on 6 September 2023 as KSIS welcomed students back for a carefully planned orientation week. The First Days of School programme was designed to ease students into the rhythm of school life, help them reconnect with friends, and familiarise themselves with new teachers, classrooms, and routines.

For new students, the week was especially important — filled with warm introductions, campus tours, and activities designed to build friendships quickly. Returning students took on a mentoring role, helping their newer classmates settle in.

Teachers reported a positive, energetic start to the year with students arriving motivated and ready to learn. The First Days of School programme reflects KSIS's belief that a strong beginning sets the tone for a successful year ahead.
